The Journey of Mouloud
When the quarantine was announced on TV, Mouloud first thought about his grandmother, 40 minutes away in the center of Cairo. He organised to be able to bring her food and her newspaper.
She told him how she was worried about her elder friends. Mouloud contacted a few friends, and within a week, they started a routine to visit the elders of the neigbourhood, from afar, to bring them everything they needed. Today, Mouloud is coordinating with 20 people to support 300 elders, and he is now supported by the governor with a car and some funding.
